WRITINGS
Michael loves to write about green building best practices almost as much as he loves to study and teach about it. Maybe one day there will be a book about all we've learned, until then this link will lead those who are interested to PDFs of published essays from Green Building Advisor and Fine Homebuilding Magazine.
ADVOCACY
In 2011 Michael was recognized by the National Association of Home Builders as Green Builder/Advocate of the year. He continues to push the industry forward by promoting better building codes, fine tuning the National Green Building Standard, working to get MSDS listings of toxic flame retardants in building materials, and through teaching with the NAHB Univ. of Housing.
